The pilot cases have been selected to cover different consumer conditions and provide consumers (around 35 in each site) of various types:
Geographic and demographic: the pilots belong to 3 different climatic areas: humid oceanic in France, Mediterranean climate in Greece, humid continental in Austria.
Public and private/ Urban and Rural: the pilot partners have no specific customer style attributed to them. The selection of those interested for the trials will ensure coverage of those parameters from the existing customer base. The same is the case for the buildings. As no specific target group is selected the buildings will be new or old, according to the random selection of the pilot users.
